I do a bit of OpenGL development on my system for my uni assignments. Of
course, it does mean that my system will crash every now and then.
The thing is, on two seperate occasions I've lost all my work when my code
was replace with binary NULLs.
Is there a workaround to this such that it doesn't happen again? The FAQ
mentions that the kernel writes out to disk every 30 seconds. Perhaps
reducing this time may help?

I'm using kernel 2.4.22-xfs (pulled from the CVS tree).

Any help would be much appreciated.
