Hello list, Is there any chance that the XFS check and repair utilities will start working on a (read-only) mounted disk someday? xfs_check and xfs_repair now complain that the disk is mounted and refuse to do anything. This makes using XFS as root fs a bit unpleasant, as a reboot in single user mode or even in "emergency" mode (running /bin/sh instead of init) will not help to fix any file system problems. Is there a way to force xfs_repair to work on a read only fs? Best regards, Valentijn |
