Moin,

does anybody know a 'working' patch for a 2.4 Kernel,
included XFS of course ?

The well known/common patches for 2.4 Kernels are failing on our
XFS stable kernels.

Without this patched the ide modules are not enableing DMA/UDMA at all so
this is not a usable solution.

The original Nvidia "Drivers" has only "audio" and "network" drivers, but
nvida excluded the IDE Part. (Bad Boys!).

You can google the "common" solutions here:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=linux%2Bnforce2%2Bide&btnG=Google+Search
But those does not work/patch works not on linux-2.4-XFS Kernels.

Has anybody already got a working solution ?

TIA - quite a lot ...

mfG
