Is the tokdata cache the only one that had stuff remaining in it?
If there's something in it, then I'm betting there's something
in the other caches as well.  Look over the files under 
/proc/xfs_dmapi_d just prior to your unmount and unload and see if there
are any clues about what's going to happen.
It's possible (likely) that we're missing a few opportunities
to mark the filesystem and the module as busy.
