there have been since 2.4.20 was released:

no i doubt it, and even if they did it would be a very bad idea (there
are often changes which affect XFS but don't directly conflict with
the patches, so you don't immediatly see the problem, until its too
late).

note the above patches are a cvs snapshot taken on 11/29.  i won't
speak for SGI but my read is 1.2 release will only support 2.4.19.
