its really quite a lot of trouble to do that, i prefer not to replace
kernels unless there is a pretty good reason, or its an actual
upgrade.  ill however keep this on my list of things to check when i
upgrade to 2.4.19+split patches. (2.4.19 probably isn't too far off at
this point).
