Hi, I changed my motherboard (I had Abit BP6 -BX440 chipset with Celeron) to Asus A7V-133 (kt133A) with Duron 1000, and I have crashes with VMware. Also checked A7V (kt133) with Duron 700. The system is stable. On abit with celeron I had no problems. I tried kernels 2.4.5 and 2.4.17, both with XFS compiled in. Does somebody has similar configuration? I took a look at vmware newsgroup, but didn't find complaints about duron and via chipsets, so I think, it may be problem with modifications to kernel introduced by XFS support.
