Conceivably, you could boot up using some sort of rescue disk with an XFS 
enabled kernel and run xfs_repair from there. I use Timo's rescue kit which I 
customize with my own XFS aware kernel and the tools on it. It's based on 
Debian and has some good stuff on it. http://rescuecd.sourceforge.net
If you've got the SGI installer for Redhat you could probably do it that way 
too. I don't use Redhat, so I'm not sure / unable to help out there.
