I'm running such a setup for several months already. This only works,
because Steve Best added a little tweak upon my request to get this going
because XFS modifies some type declaration that JFS depends on.
I'm maintaining patches with XFS plus JFS on my ftp server:

ftp://ftp.uni-duisburg.de:/Linux/filesys/linux-2.4.5-fspatch.gz


.... although I didn't have the time to upgrade to jfs-1.0 - will come soon,
