With this change you can actually really do I/O to the realtime device,
provided you have the correct user space incantations.... Even buffered
I/O appears to work, which is more than you can say for the Irix version!
I would treat this as a handle with care feature right now, it has not
had much testing, xfs_check does not like the filesystem afterwards,
but this may be an endian issue in xfs_check.
