I've been running the linus-2.4.5 kernel out of PR1 now since the day Eric
put it up for ftp and I've had great results. It's a testament to XFS as
well, when you consider:
1. Had electrical probs in my apt bldg.
2. UPS had gone on battery over 150 times since Thurs night.
3. Voltage went too low to keep off battery, so I had to run w/o UPS.
4. Power cycled at least 20 times since (3) last night.
Every single time: system came up, xfs_repair did, and not a file was
damaged AFAIK.
I've got 15 filesystems, 2 of which are 30 gig each. If I had been using
ext2, well, it'd still be fscking itself.
