Hello..
We use Oracle and run Oracle Applications, we're
planning on moving to Linux, and I'm hoping that XFS
will perform OK under Oracle on top of Raid...

I'm getting ready to install XFS on one of our test
systems, then I'll be able to compare it to our other
boxes just running ext2.. so I'll be posting some
future comments on this... (I also use mysql alot,
and if things continue going well, I'm swithing the
web server, with mysql to XFS)

As far as raw i/o, the filesystem layer is not even
used. The DB reads/writes directly to the drives, no
filesystem required.
