Correct: see my initial post's mention of SDS. :)

(Indeed, one thing I've always wondered is if Sol 8's "logging" fstab
option is just the "metatrans" code diked out of SDS and dropped into
the core OS, or if it's something completely different, and what would
happen if you gave a logging UFS partition a trans log...)
