Hmm, you may want to fall back to an older compiler - kgcc is available
in redhat 7.1 in the compat_egcs rpm. Various people have reported similar
problems on assorted architectures.

Sorry not to be of more help, but we are short handed right now, Eric is
moving from Texas to Minnesota, Ananth is in India, and I am actually at
home sick today.
