I just wanted to tell people that XFS was successfully built, an
XFS filesystem was created, mounted, lightly oppressed, damaged
and replayed without any problems on an AMD DX4-100 with 36M RAM.
I'm using the filesystem as a temporary partition for the time
being (my $TMPDIR points there).
