So the summary seems to be that the library shipped with Redhat 7.0 uses
system calls not introduced until after 2.4.0-test5, but obviously copes
with them not being there - just not with something else being there instead.
Andi is correct in his statement that adding arbitary system calls is not a
good idea.

We are working on the best way to move forwards on this one, there are
difference consequences to all the different solutions, while there are
no external user's of extended attributes yet, we do have internal ones
in the works (DMAPI), so I really don't want to just remove the calls.

Thanks for everyone who dug into this over the weekend, hopefully we can get
the beta images respun soon. In the meantime it does appear that the cvs tree
works, provided you change the kernel compiler to kgcc.

By the way, if you want to use pcmcia on Redhat 7 with XFS please install all
the Redhat 2.4 kernel images first and then boot an XFS kernel, it died an
ugly death on me before I did this.
