We use stuff like aim, dbench, bonnie++, lmbench the latter three are certainly
out on the web - look at www.freshmeat.net for locations. I am not sure on the
status of aim - the company which developed it is gone, but the code is probably
not open source.

A side note on this is that we are not done with performance on xfs yet, and
with the introduction of a new VM into 2.4.0-test9 things will have to change.

Off the top of my head the only people I can think of selling Mips Linux
boxes is cobalt. These are not a generic system at all, but there are
almost certainly others.

I doubt anyone is selling a 2.4 based system - there are a couple of
distributions which have put out betas with an option of installing
2.4. We use redhat 6.2 here and you do not have to upgrade much to
use 2.4 - see the Changes file in the kernel Documentation directory.

I know no one is distributing machines with XFS on Linux. Also, we have
not done any testing of Linux XFS on Mips beyond booting on an SGI platform
and looking at a couple of filesystems.
