The 64 bit patch needs to be studied and carried through the XFS code.
        There are many types (as mentioned above) that are different sizes
        between XFS and Linux. The 64 bit issue deals with making sure
        we can do reads/writes/lseeks/fcntls/... with types which are large
        enough.

        i.) Linux VFS needs to be changed.
        ii.) new syscalls are needed.
        iii.) glibc issues (e.g. ftruncate64 will fail if the len parameter
                does not fit in 32 bits).
