I heard SGI has already implemented the DM-API for the XFS being ported to
Linux. I'm working with some people who are also thinking about doing the
DM-API for Linux. If SGI cannot yet release the source code, could you still
talk about the user space<-->kernel space protocol so that we could be
compatiable?
I was thinking of turning each function+parameter list into a struct with a
function code, and then use ioctl to move the struct back and forth, but if
you can discuss a better method I would be happy to hear about it.
