On two laptops, running the upgrade got an XFS shutdown on / or /usr.
Both laptops had been shutdown in midflight many times while running
RH9, and had not run xfs_repair for some time. RH9 had no problems
with those filesystems, FC2 did.
As I said, I could be talking through my hat here. OTOH, it is good
practice to ensure that the filesystems are clean before doing a major
OS upgrade.
