It's also missing from the command help output as well, but does seem to be 
there.  So, yeah, no man page or command output updates made me think that it 
was missing completely.  Thanks!  This makes things much easier.  :)

The noalign option has been in mkfs since 2005, so it's most
certainly supported on RHEL6.

Looking at the man page history, I forgot that it wasn't documented
until 2013 and hence is missing from the RHEL6 man page, so I can
understand why you might be saying this.
