If you are not seeing LILO then you have probably have a mismatch
between LILO and the BIOS. You mentioned that your BIOS is set to boot
from id 6 so try these commands in lilo.conf.
boot=/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target6/lun0/disc
disk=/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target6/lun0/disc
bios=0x80
You have boot=/dev/sda so you are writing lilo to the wrong disk. The
disk/bios pair tells lilo where you are booting from, lilo needs to be
told about non-standard bios settings. You could use /dev/sdc instead
of the long names but it is better to be safe and use the devfs names
instead of assuming that id 6 is always sdc.
