You built XFS with debug enabled, apart from doubling the size of the
code and slowing things down a lot, this also turns on some diagnostic
messages. This particular one means we have attempted to read an inode
number which is out of range for the filesystem. The tests you mention
execute fsstress, a program which feeds random parameters into system
calls. One of the xfs specific calls, bulkstat, takes an inode number
as a parameter, you feed it random numbers and you fall off the end of
the filesystem like this. This is one of the things all new developers
working on XFS find and get confused about.
Summary, nothing to worry about here, and be careful to turn debug off
unless you are doing development work.
