There was a little thread recently on Linux Today about official
inclusion of XFS in the 2.5 kernel. One interchange went like this:

 > when is XFS going in? anyone know ?
Not anytime soon. The parts of XFS that overlap with generic kernel code
have to be cut out and put into pieces that can be used by other
filesystems.

This response was written someone named whateva (rakarnik@xxxxxxxxx).
The question is, does he know what he's talking about?
