Can you share the reason for the 2.4.2 kernel? I understand that you
must have some other constraint, but I would feel uneasy with you using
1.0, XFS has moved quite a bit since then.

Each "0??" file in cmd/xfstests tests different functionality. Edit
"common.config" to add your your system, and then run ./check 0??. Read
each 0?? file to get some idea of what it tests.

You might look at the new features / changelog for 1.0.1 for some info
on this.
