Hi all -

There are some new kernel RPMs available for testing at

ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/download/testing/RH2.4.7-10/

These are based on the 2.4.7-10 Red Hat kernel RPM from rawhide, rumored
to be the version that will ship with their next distro release.

These kernels pass my sanity tests, they run (mostly) successfully
through the xfs QA suite, with an occasional hang on test 013, which I
have not yet found the reason for. (The only RPM that I have actually
installed & tested is kernel-smp-2.4.7-10SGI_XFS_PR1.i686.rpm).

But if you'd like to help take a look at them, there they are!

KDB is not enabled by default, you'll have to turn it on if you want
it. Note that it landed in the wrong place for some reason, so

echo 1 > /proc/sys/fs/kdb

to enable it (next build will have it back in /proc/sys/kernel/kdb)

The "ikd" debugger patch that Red Hat ships is not included, it was
dropped in favor of a "vanilla" kdb from Keith, just to make the merge
go more smoothly.

Have fun,

-Eric
