I've heard someone complaining about high CPU usage with XFS, especially on low-clocked machines. Someone told me that, on some PII at 266 and 400 MHz, running Linux on XFS, CPU usage is 10-15% all the time, even when the machine is supposed to be idle. I find this hard to believe, since on a lowly Indy, at 180 MHz, CPU usage is 0.00% when the machine is idle.
