I'm running Mandrake 8.2 and have formatted the system drive and attached RAID as XFS on my Linux system. When I attach an additional external drive that was previously attached to an SGI Octane, I cannot mount the drive. I do not have an sdc1 in the /dev directory. How do I create that device? Also, what else is it that I have to do to read the data on the SGI drive once it is mounted on the Linux box? Ron Smith ronnetron@xxxxxxxxxxx ronnet@xxxxxxxxxxx |
