Hello,

I recall seeing something about this and/or a solution for this a while ago,
but a quick google and search of my local mail archives didn't reveal
anything obvious.

How does one avoid the: "XFS: Filesystem has duplicate UUID - can't mount"
when trying to mount a snapshot volume? I can't change the uuid on the
snapshot, as it is read-only.

I'm using the 2.4.17 CVS tree from yesterday, with LVM-1.0.1, VFS-lock and
the patch from Eric to make LVM not allocate the huge array on the stack, as
per some other threads here. I seem to have created a snapshot ok (although
I deadlocked the machine the first time I tried - I got some traces from
kdb, but then it turned out that my serial console wasn't logging, ho hum),
I just can't mount it!

Thanks,
Chris
