Hi all,
I'm the one that had the hang and minor FS corruption a couple weeks ago, on
an Abit VP6 motherboard.
I upgraded to the CVS snapshot from Tuesday the 12th, and everything seems to
be working great ever since. It had one reboot since then, due to the co-lo
guys moving it to a different cage.
The process that gave me trouble last time (by hanging inkillable and hogging
99% of a CPU, and locking me out of its log dir) has been running for over a
week now. No additional trouble.
Of course, the box has pretty close to zero load currently. If you wanna
stress test it, see my sig. :-)
I guess I should probably upgrade again at some point -- perhaps when 2.4.6
final is out and you have a good, tested XFS patch against it.
