It's also possible without copying files.
But then you must watch when another CD is required,
then stop ftp daemon, umount CD, mount next, start
ftpdaemon, and again ... stop, umount, mount, start,
and again ... painful but it works. :))) I've tested this.
Starting and stopping ftp daemon doesnt interrupt install
procedure. IMVHO there is a bug in installer, normally
when ftp server cant be contacted some kind of dialog box
should appear.RH installer does nothing but seems hunging
until you switch (in text mode usingalt-F1...alt-F4) to another
console.
