Can't pagebuffer in kernelmenu ?

hello,

now i have downloaded the kernel-2.4.19 from kernel.org
in step two i have downloaded the
two patches for xfs-kernel-support for kernel-2.4.19
in step 3 i had patch the kernel under /usr/src with taht two patch-files
the new kernel-2.4.19 was a symlink to /usr/src/linux

in step 4 i had "make manuconfig"

I found the option under "filesystem"

i can't find "pagebuffer"

in step 5 i had run

Could any say what is wrong?

Now i download the new kernel from cvs like in your web-documentation (FAQ)

I hope that is better, please telle me when if is possible, which problems coms 
with this
sorry but a had download the new redhat 8.0-xfs-image and during the 
installation 
(he would like installed the kernel) comes a error an break the installtion

My System is a tyan-dual-amd board with 3WARE-4p controller and 
3WARE-Hot-SWAP-IDE-BOX

Please help
