Hi all,

I'm attemting to make backups using xfsdump/xfsrestore, however xfsrestore
terminates with the message:

xfsrestore: examining media file 1
xfsrestore: seeking past media file directory dump
xfsrestore: drive_scsitape.c:1461: do_next_mark: Assertion
`rechdrp->first_mark_offset - rechdrp->file_offset <=
 off64_t )( contextp->dc_recsz )' failed.
Aborted

I'm using the xfsrestore from xfsdump-1.0.11-0.rpm, the xfs patches for a
vanilla 2.4.6 kernel on SuSE 7.1. The backup used was from a filesystem some
2.3 GB in size, backed up to a DDS-3 tapedrive. I tried to restore a small
subset from that backup as a test.
I've tested this with older versions as well, and they all had this problem.

Anyone has a solution?

Greetings,

    Wim
