XFS Program Tarballs

I am doing a XFS install onto a Slackware 8 machine, and I am looking for the command tarballs to configure and install.  In the cmd_tars directory, there is no quota.tar.gz.  There is an .rpm for it, but I would like a source tarball for quota.  I do need one, correct?  What’s up?
