Well, if you want to get more than 1G of RAM, your best bet is to just use
the BIGMEM patch on oss.sgi.com.  This will probably be the fastest thing.
On the other hand, you can always install the kernel rpm and then point
arcx at that.

I am in the process of trying to get a few vw's in house to continue to
develop the kernel.  I have talked to a couple of people who seem
interested including Ralf Baechle who is in Germany as well.  We hope to
at least see the VW support forward ported to the 2.3 kernels.  Right now,
it may be dropped if no body supports it.

In any event, if you do know something about the linux kernel, we could
always use your help.  If you find any specific bugs, let me know.  And
the keyboard this is known and I don't know of any workarounds -- sorry.
