"New release of the SGI compiler"

Hi

   I would like to mention that PLDI'00 will be held next week in
Vancouver. Maybe it is a good time to release the enhanced version
of the compiler in order to `stir' something in that conference. 

   Right now, there are some minor problems in the current release.
Hope the new version can get rid of all the `niches'.
