I'm trying to build optimized on an IA64. Can you give some pointers on
what flags to use? My attempt with -Ofast gives either this error:
-lsilo -lsgeos -lm -lfortran -lffio -o .//alec
advect/AdvectHist.o: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [alec] Error 2
when I link without -Ofast, or with -Ofast it complains that it can't
execute the needed ipa linker:
sgicc ERROR: cannot exec
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/ia64-sgi-linux/sgicc-1.0/ipa_link
What am I doing wrong?
Wayne
