-Ofast invokes IPA (interprocedural optimizer) which is not supported
at this point. You should be using -O (same as -O2), -O1, -O0 and -O3
-O3 invokes lno (loop nest optimizer). -O2 invokes wopt (global optimizer).
Perhaps SGI people can consider releasing the changes needed to make
gld to work with IPA so people can use -Ofast at their own risk. There's
still might be a problem. I don't remember exactly, -Ofast might also
involves feedback which is not released yet.
