I am following the FAQ on sgi's web site for building Linux/IA-64 kernel
with sgi pro64 compiler. But it appears that it either doesn't compile
or doesn't link. Does anyone has tried to compile linux-2.4.2 kernel
with "SGIcc Compilers: Version 0.01.0-13"?
These switches will not compile arch/ia64/kernel/acpi.c and other files.
CROSS_COMPILE =
CC = sgicc -D__KERNEL__ -I$(HPATH) -D__LP64__
CFLAGS = $(CPPFLAGS) -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O0
-fomit-frame-pointer -ffixed-r15
-CG:emit_unwind_info=off -Wf,-O2
-PHASE:p -D__OPTIMIZE -OPT:Olimit=5000
