I ran across a problem with your fortran 90 compiler. The program:

"f90 -version" gives:
MIPSpro Compilers: Version 7.20
This mailing list is for the IA64 open source SGIpro compilers.
You are using the IRIX MIPSpro compilers, which is a different product.
You need to go through customer support for problems in those
compilers. But I will tell you that you should upgrade to 7.3,
and that will solve your problem.
