How can I modify the instruction latency and functional unit resource quantity? Is the file itanium_si.cxx the only file to change? How the "issue" resource quantity information is used in this file? I tried to change the issue resource from 6 to 15 (in file itanium_si.cxx) but when running the compiler I got an error "Error: Signal Segmentation fault in phase Software Pipelining". I'm making experiments to compare some architetures and I need to have a normalized number of functional units and instruction latency.
