Troy advises that this new pmlogger_check works. So if you are having
the same problem, please use this one until the next spin of the pcp
rpms.

Found it.
It was a bug in the translation from Irix to Linux, and then the QA
test to exercise this has not yet been ported from Irix to Linux.
Attached is a new pmlogger_check, please extract and install in
/usr/share/pcp/bin/pmlogger_check.
