This appears to be something pathological in your local setup.

Just concentrate on 340 first.

I'd like to see
        - 340.full from the QA directory after the failure of just QA test
          340
        - the hostname and IP addr of the host where the QA is being run,
          e.g.
                $ ping -c 1 `hostname`
                $ ifconfig -a
        - /var/log/pcp/pmcd/pmcd.log after the failure of just QA test 340
