Info on /proc/stat parsing

   I am Saranyan, a graduate student at the University of California,
Santa Barbara. I am currently involved in a project which requires me to
parse the /proc/stat file in linux for getting the disk IO information
along with the disk names. I got this email ID of yours when I was
searching the web for more details. If you have a program/patch in C, can
you send it to me if possible.
