Hi Team,

I am using PCP version pcp-2.7.7-20080915. I am trying to use the pmdumptext command and the command is behaving in a weird fashion.

If I am specifying the metric in the command line, it runs without any errors
[root@xcat20mn sbin]# pmdumptext hinv.ncpu  -d§ -s1 -hcu03sv -f%D:%H:%M:%S
10/02/08:16:12:48§4.000

If I specify the metric in a config file and use "-c" option, I am getting errors.
[root@xcat20mn sbin]# pmdumptext -c /opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT_monitoring/pcp/pcpmon.config  -d§ -s1 -hcu03sv -f%D:%H:%M:%S
pmdumptext: Line 0 of /opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT_monitoring/pcp/pcpmon.config was too long, skipping.
pmdumptext: no valid metrics, exiting.

I am attaching the config file herewith. Please get back to me regarding the same.

Thanks and Regards
