Heh, that's a one-character change - done. Actually, there's
some redundant error handling in there that can be removed.
Those two, some QA and reviewed+QA'd updates from other folks
are ready to go ...

pmdads389: make more resilient to server failures
Retry connecting to the server if a connection fails,
for example during server restart. Add a bit of logging.
