somewhat related to this, I wanted to check a real-world PMDA using
aggregate and/or event data type (so something else than pmdasample).
pmdasystemd has both but even after I configured it to run as root
(journald is running as root on my system) I don't see any data with
sudo pmval/pmevent for the following fields:

systemd.journal.field.cursor
systemd.journal.field.string
systemd.journal.field.blob

What are these metrics supposed to present, how does one get the data?
Alternatively, are there any other real-worlds PMDAs which would use
event and/or aggregate data types?

Thanks,
