Also, I noticed avahi-browse seems to report resolved names.  Not sure
if its manually doing reverse lookups, or if the Avahi API has the name
hidden away somewhere - be good to check what its doing before manually
resolving though, might be easier than we thought.
Yeah, the host name is provided as part of the avahi_browser API. We used that in systemtap. For active probing, we will have no choice but to do the lookup ourselves.
