So on 9 May I could reproduce what Dave showed exactly. I can today (26 May)
no longer reproduce the bug. Possibly this is my use of 1.5.8 -
pcp-gui-1.5.8-2.el6.x86_64
as an rpm. I'll downgrade to sgi's version.
