Guess we should do a 3.3.3. Probably will pull in Ken's timezone
tweak, but thats about it (oh, perhaps you could take out that old
spec file?). I would then like to have this PCP release be stable
for awhile (many weeks, maybe months) before the next one... I'd
like to run this on all our production servers here for a long time.
ok sounds good. DO you want to do the 3.3.3 release today or next week?
I plan on focussing on docs and pcp-gui for awhile too, so if someone
else wants to take on being PCP release monkey for awhile, that'd be
good.
I can do that, unless someone else particularly wants to.
I'd like to start on pcp-3.3.4 and concentrate on including
pmlogconf, guff for pre-installed cron.daily, and pmimport
for sucking in sar/sadc reports.
Perhaps we could add 'pminfo -fmdtv>/dev/null 2>&1' to qa/000
Yep, please do that.
ok, seems reasonable to do this - 000 is more or less a startup
and config sanity test, so fetching all metrics and checking that
pmcd survived is a good starting point before running any other
tests.
Cheers
